aluplast receives prestigious TOP 100 award. Now, aluplast officially belongs to the German innovating elite.

The window system provider from Karlsruhe in Southern Germany received the TOP 100 award for being one of the 100 most innovative medium-sized companies in Germany. First, however, aluplast took part in a multistage scientific selection procedure in which the innovation management and innovation success were evaluated. The mentor of the innovation contest, Ranga Yogeshwar, honoured the top innovator during this year's German Summit for Medium-Sized Companies on 24 June in Essen, Germany.

"Innovations are sort of part of our DNA" commented aluplast CEO Patrick Seitz. Since 2011, aluplast follows a systematic innovation management, a decision that has already paid in many ways: Numerous commercially successful innovations have resulted from this continuous process, for example the lift-and-slide door and energeto 5000 view.
aluplast employees from all departments are involved in the innovation process. But not only them. Clients, suppliers, and representatives from related industries discuss future trends in regular meetings to generate new ideas and innovations. This integrative approach and the comprehensive marketing and sales services that aluplast offers to their customers convinced the TOP 100 jury. The marketing service package includes among others websites, showroom concepts, and even the creation of a completely new corporate identity. Furthermore, aluplast offers sales trainings and a DP sales tool for the window fabricators' sales departments. aluplast does not content itself with the development of product innovations; instead they incorporate all areas that guarantee business success, also and particularly the customers' success. This is what makes aluplast a model company whose comprehensive business concept is definitely trendsetting, the TOP 100 jury concluded.

The jury included numerous personalities from the fields of politics and economy, for example corporate consultant Roland Berger, TV reporter Sabine Christiansen, and the politicians Christian Lindner and Cem Özdemir. Scientific director of the jury was Professor Nikolaus Franke from Munich University, one of the leading researchers on innovation worldwide.

"Being one of the TOP 100 innovative enterprises is an honour and a fantastic affirmation", CEO Patrick Seitz said. "The way we live our innovation management throughout all departments is, apparently, just right. The result is a comprehensive concept for the future which we presented under the slogan "the window to the future" at this year's Fensterbau Frontale."
With its outstanding innovative capacity, aluplast ranks among the other TOP 100 award winners, who are all pacesetters in their industry sector. The numbers of the evaluation, presented by Professor Franke, speak for themselves: Among the award winners were 97 national market leaders and 32 world market leaders. All in all, German middle-sized companies filed 2,292 national and international patents in the last three years.
The mentor of the TOP 100 contest, science journalist and TV presenter Ranga Yogeshwar, was impressed by the quality of the enterprises and hopes that they give a strong signal: "The way the TOP 100 generate new ideas and develop and design groundbreaking product innovations and services, is remarkable, in the truest sense of the word. I am therefore happy that the award makes these qualities visible. Their success hopefully encourages other enterprises to follow suit, for this innovation culture will be increasingly important in the future."
