aluplast opens the window to the future

What are the challenges facing the industry, and how can fabricators address this challenge successfully? A future-proof and practical answer will be presented by aluplast GmbH from Karlsruhe in Southern Germany at Fensterbau Frontale with an all-in package including innovative products and services.


The future of series production: Multifalz

Two requirements, one product: this summarises the innovation that the profile fabricator from Baden-Württemberg will showcase at this year's Frontale: Multifalz, the profile with the multifunctional rebate, is the world's first profile that can be glazed either conventionally with glazing blocks, or by bonding the glass in the rebate, which helps fabricators to meet the diversity of needs of the customers. Fabricators can choose between one of the two glazing methods according to each order – the required profile is in stock in any case. Thanks to Multifalz, warehousing will be less complex. The aluplast system engineers are confident that the share of bonded constructions will continue to increase with this technology.
"We are convinced: The future belongs to the bonding technology, and the development of Multifalz will boost it even further" says Jürgen Huber, sales manager at aluplast. Bonding with centring elements in Multifalz profiles reduces the amount of adhesive required, which renders the process even more profitable. aluplast already holds an exceptional position among the system providers in terms of bonded window elements.

Efficient design solution: energeto® 5000 view

The self-imposed business goal, to launch innovations that really benefit the fabricator, determined the development of both Multifalz and energeto® 5000 view, the unique system with the concealed sash. energeto® 5000 view can be integrated into the conventional series production process – unlike any other comparable system in the market. aluplast received great acclaim for their design solution since its market launch last year: The possibility to cover the energeto® 5000 view frame almost entirely with plaster until only a narrow strip remains visible around the glass – that is, to fully integrate it into the wall – meets the trend towards clearly-structured, simple facade designs that are much in demand in top-class architectural projects. At the same time, energeto® 5000 view considerably reduces the thermal bridge between window and wall. Last year, aluplast step by step extended the range of accessories for energeto® 5000 view, for example with another aluminium shell for the most diverse requirements, or with a new design handle for patio doors. The exhibit at the trade show will give visitors an idea as to how elegant energeto® 5000 view looks once installed in the wall.
"The products we will present at the trade show combine design and technology in a very unique way. This is what makes them so very attractive," believes Dr. Gerhard Schuhmann, head of the aluplast engineering department.


 

Exclusive residential door 85 mm

This also includes the residential door 85 mm with leaf enclosing panel designed especially for building owners with high expectations. At Fensterbau Frontale, it will be exhibited with an exclusive door panel with faux concrete finish. It has all the advantages of a PVC door: stability, durability, efficiency, and perfect thermal insulation that already has become the standard in aluplast products: passive house-suitable U values place this product in the top segment of the residential door market, also in terms of energy efficiency.


Barrier-free lift-and-slide door 85 mm

With a five-fold increase in the number of fabricated elements in the last two years, the lift-and-slide door 85 mm has already become a success story. The booth will be the perfect stage for this high-end product: According to the door's inherent function, it will connect two central spaces at the trade show. At the aluplast booth, fairgoers can experience the barrier-free version of the lift-and-slide door 85 mm with an extra large visible glazing in the fixed element.

In addition to presenting innovations, aluplast wants to demonstrate how to benefit from current and future trends with the aluplast overall concept. For instance through strategic reorientation of the marketing and sales management. "To successfully sell windows, one has to keep in mind what the window stands for. It is not enough to argue on a mere technical basis, you have to convince emotionally as well", Peter Kotzur, head of marketing, explains. aluplast provides comprehensive support and advice on sales management and marketing with the Marketing Services. "Of course we are very curious and excited about the feedback on our booth from our customers and guests", CEO Patrick Seitz says. "Apart from that, we are looking forward to another aluplast family reunion at the world's largest industry meeting."
