Successful BAU 2013 for aluplast

Visitors convinced by added value of new lift-and-slide door 85mm

This year's BAU has been an outstanding success for aluplast GmbH. At the heavily frequented booth, visitors were particularly enthusiastic about the new lift-and-slide door 85mm. This door has a modular system to satisfy the needs of three different target groups. In the run-up of BAU 2013, aluplast^® presented its web presence in a new look. With the relaunch, the persons responsible aimed above all at a better-structured user interface and more clarity.

"At Bau 2013, we confirmed our innovative capacity" aluplast CEO Patrick Seitz said. "With the lift-and-slide door 85mm and the further development of the PVC profile systems IDEAL 8000^® and energeto^® 8000 we set new standards." The focus of interest was above all on the new lift-and-slide door: For the modular system - an innovation in this segment - allows for the manufacturing of products of the same profile series but with different insulating properties. The reason for this flexibility is the varying equipment of the three designs. For the first time ever, a lift-and-slide door can be offered that meets passive house standards. At the stand of the window and door manufacturer Huber & Sohn GmbH & Co. KG visitors had the opportunity to watch how such a project is put into practice. Visitors were impressed by the uncomplicated processing of the new lift-and-slide door demonstrated by this family-owned company from Bavaria in Southern Germany.
