300 years of Karlsruhe: aluplast congratulates as a "friend"

Innovative, but down-to-earth. Open-minded, but regionally rooted. Extremely versatile and steady at the same time – this is Karlsruhe, and aluplast as well. In short: aluplast suits Karlsruhe, and Karlsruhe suits aluplast. Reason enough for aluplast to celebrate the city's jubilee and support the anniversary as a "friend".

The metropolis in Baden will celebrate its 300th anniversary with a great festival summer and countless events. Local sponsors like the energy supplier EnBW, Siemens, the drugstore chain dm and the window system provider aluplast will support the "KA300" festival summer.

From the outset, aluplast had deep roots in the Karlsruhe region: Having been founded in Ettlingen 33 years ago, the company is now located in Hagsfeld. With more than 700 people working there, aluplast is one of the important employers in the region. The window and door system provider is known to be the leading innovator in the sector: In the head office in Karlsruhe, new technologies are developed consistently that often find many imitators. Here, the spirit of innovation is the driving force, successful even across borders. Despite its international success, aluplast still is a family business. The company now managed by second-generation family members is characterised by flat hierarchies and short decision-making processes. The entrepreneurial Seitz family is committed to the region and wants to stay there - despite the high wage costs in Germany. In this sense, it went without saying that the Seitz family would support the city's anniversary.
