Shaping the future with aluplast

At Fensterbau Frontale 2016, aluplast GmbH will start the race with a completely new booth. CEO Patrick Seitz wants this to be understood as a clear commitment: "In everything we do in our everyday work, the key focus is always on the needs of our fabricators. The same holds true for our new booth: Under the slogan "The window to the future" we will present comprehensive, future-proof solutions."

Comprehensive, because the booth will not only be about products and innovations, but furthermore about the support aluplast provides to their window fabricators in other fields such as marketing and sales. Future-proof solutions are the key behind everything; at aluplast they do not leave this to chance but ensure future-proof products by a process that has generated success for years: an effective innovation management. The latest example of the successful innovation efforts: the passive-house suitable energeto^® 5000 view system, fabricated by numerous aluplast fabricators in large quantities since its market launch last year. Of course, this design product with the concealed sash is a must-see on this year's trade fair. Due to the possibility to cover almost the entire frame with plaster until only a narrow strip remains visible around the glass, energeto^® 5000 view gives architects and planners a lot of creative freedom and allows for clear lines in the facade design – aluplast anticipated this trend and developed an efficient window system solution: while other, comparable systems are time-consuming customised products, energeto^® 5000 view can be integrated into the conventional mass production process. Furthermore, the system can be used as well in renovation projects – not at least because it is compatible with the renovation frame.

Efficient window fabrication was also the main idea behind the lift-and-slide door 85 mm. Due to, among others, the reduced number of components and the integrated sealing system, it can be fabricated in a very short time, which made it popular among window fabricators. At the aluplast booth, the lift-and-slide door will play a central role.
Just as energeto^® 5000 view, the lift-and-slide door proves that the needs and processes of the fabricators stand at the focal point in all new developments: Along with a perfect knowledge of the market, they are the ones who determine significantly the continuous improvement of the systems. And as only those products can prevail on the market that suit the end customers' taste, it is crucial to know the end customers desires and needs. For this reason, aluplast supports their fabricators in all questions concerning their communication with retailers and customers and in developing sales strategies and sales control systems. "Our market success is the market success of our customers. For this reason it is crucial to take the fabricators with us along our way", says Jürgen Huber, sales manager at aluplast.

Listen to the customers, know their processes, and then think one step ahead: This is the formula for success of the aluplast system engineers. At an early stage, they recognized the great potential of the bonding technology and improved it for an optimal use – for example with the bonding robot, a sensation at Frontale 2012. Now the time is ripe for the next phase: "Bonding technology 4.0" is what they call the latest development made by aluplast and which fairgoers can definitely be curious about.
"An invention turns into an innovation only if it offers a genuine benefit to the user", says Dr. Gerhard Schuhmann, head of the engineering department. "The benefits of the bonding technology are obvious. Now, we have made it even more efficient by improving the geometry, which we will present at the trade fair."
