Canadian manufacturer offering European-style windows

Euroline Windows and aluplast: A Strategic Partnership Built on Innovation and Trust

Founded in 1993, prominent Canadian manufacturer Euroline Windows has carved out a unique position in the North American market by offering European-style, high-performance uPVC window systems, including folding doors, tilt-and-turn windows, and smart slide doors. Based in Delta, British Columbia, Euroline is known for prioritising aesthetic appeal, energy efficiency and sustainability.

"Our focus has always been on high-performance windows," says company president Davyd Funk. "We wanted to bring European technology to Canada because we saw the gap in the market for superior products."

Euroline’s growth has been steady, with showrooms across Canada, including Toronto’s design district of Yorkville, and an increasing presence in the U.S. market.

Euroline has found an ideal partner in aluplast, a global leader in window systems known for innovation, flexibility, and strong customer relationships. For Funk, the decision to work with aluplast was about more than just technical superiority—it was about aligning with a company that shared Euroline's values and approach to business.

"We chose aluplast over other suppliers for their product development, environmental responsibility, and nimble management, which matches our own management style," says Funk. "They are a company with the steely-eyed conviction to stay the course, and that resonates with us."

Funk highlights aluplast’s willingness to adapt to the specific needs of the North American market as a critical factor in their decision. While many European suppliers are reluctant to modify their products for North America, aluplast embraced the challenge.

"They observed how we anchor windows into wood-frame constructions, which is different from Europe," Funk explains. "They modified their frames and tested them here. We went through various iterations together, and they were always willing to learn."

What sets aluplast apart, according to Funk, is their people-first philosophy. aluplast’s strong family values, flat organisational structure, and quick decision-making processes foster deep, long-term relationships with their clients.

"aluplast is genuinely interested in our challenges," says Funk. "They don’t shy from hard work, and they’re quick to respond. That is invaluable in our industry."

The relationship between Euroline and aluplast transcends typical business partnerships. Funk describes it as a collaborative effort, where both sides hold each other accountable, staying focused on shared goals. This synergy allows both companies to innovate together, constantly seeking improvements in product performance and efficiency.

"We’ve only been working together for two years, but it feels like we’ve known each other forever," says Funk. "We’ve gone through a lot in a short time, and they have never backed away from what needs to be done. We keep each other sharp."

Euroline and aluplast’s partnership is not just about today’s market but also preparing for the future. A key focus is the development of products for the North American market.

For example, casement windows are extremely popular in North America but not Europe, and existing uPVC systems suit more temperate climates. Euroline is working closely with aluplast to develop a more robust casement system that can accommodate triple-glazed units and withstand Canada’s climatic extremes.

"We want to create a highly thermal-efficient North American window model that can accommodate substantial triple glazing and allow for heavy-duty hardware," says Funk.

At the heart of this collaboration is trust—a trust built on shared values, mutual respect, and a commitment to continuous improvement. aluplast’s willingness to adapt, their focus on long-term relationships, and their proactive approach to problem-solving make them an invaluable partner for Euroline.

"After our first visit to aluplast, we felt very good about working with them," Funk recalls. "We’re both direct with each other, and we count on one another to get things done. That kind of accountability is rare, and it’s one of the reasons this partnership works so well."
