Innovative strength confirmed: third Top 100 Award for aluplast

„The aluplast management believes that "innovation is an obligation" and therefore decided to apply for the Top 100 Award again this year after successfully participating in 2016 and 2017. With success: For the third time, the system provider can be pleased about the award, which is given to the most innovative companies of the German SME sector.

"Incentive" is the word that comes to aluplast Managing Director Patrick Seitz's mind when he thinks about the first two Top100 Awards: "We didn't rest on our success, on the contrary, we thought about how we could further improve our innovation process and our innovation roadmap." Trends in the market played an important role in this. "In the last few years, we then continued to systematically improve our innovation management and put even more emphasis on market orientation," Patrick Seitz explains further.
After the most important industry trade fair "Fensterbau Frontale" had to be cancelled in 2020, aluplast launched a systematic customer survey to get a clear idea of what is desired on the market and what the window of the future should look like.
This is how the new window system platform energeto® neo came into being. The early involvement of external partners, including those outside the window industry, was particularly important. "We incorporated current design trends into the development of energeto® neo at an early stage," says the aluplast owner.

End customer at the centre

The new energeto® neo platform is based on the proven technologies "bonding inside" and "powerdur inside" and combines them with design. During development, the focus was not on technical development, but on the end customer. The question of what a window should be like that the customer wants was decisive.
energeto® neo is characterised by extremely slim profile views and thus picks up on current design trends. There is an offset version that gives the window more spatiality, and a flush, closed version. It gives the room a uniform, closed look.
Compatibility and compatibility were at the forefront of the new development. This is why energeto® neo is just as suitable for large properties as it is for an architect's house. The innovative aluplast technologies guarantee you thermal insulation, burglary protection and ease of use at the highest level.

Factors of success

However, not only the new system platform was reviewed, but also how aluplast stands in the areas of "innovative processes", "innovation marketing" and "innovation success".
The success factors for the industry were analysed in detail by aluplast. The Karlsruhe-based company offers its customers a precisely coordinated range of products, technologies and services. On request, aluplast also supports its customers in digitalisation, marketing and sales.
This customer proximity is also reflected in the good performance in the category "External Orientation/Open Innovation" and earned the family-owned company, founded in 1982, the TOP100 seal of approval for the third time.
Since the company management gives its employees freedom, the innovation climate is also right. "Our technicians develop close to the customer and therefore have many creative suggestions," confirms Patrick Seitz. But it is not only the system technicians who develop new ideas. Employees from various departments as well as customers and suppliers are involved in the innovation process: "You can see that well again in our new system platform."

Innovation obliges

The company is delighted about the renewed award, as the TOP100 Award is one of the most prestigious corporate awards and is being presented for the 28th time.
The jury includes numerous personalities from politics and business, for example the management consultant Roland Berger, editor-in-chief Martin Noé from "manager magazin" or politician Gregor Gysi. Professor Nikolaus Franke of the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, one of the world's leading innovation researchers, who has been investigating the factors that help innovations succeed for many years, is the scientific head of the jury.
"To be awarded by such a competent jury for the third time is a great thing," Patrick Seitz is pleased to say. "With our corporate strategy, we are clearly in line with the findings of innovation research. We continue to see the award as an incentive, because: Innovation obliges."
